Will it read a scanned PDF?
Yes. If a page has no text layer, it is rendered and read with OCR automatically. OCR is not perfect, so always check the numbers in the preview before relying on them.
Are the numbers real numbers in Excel?
Yes. Values like 1,234.56, 12.5, currency and percentages are converted to true numbers, so sorting, filtering and SUM work. Identifiers such as 2024-001 stay as text on purpose.
